Shortly after graduating from college Dan spearheaded his career in insurance in 1990 by working for Florida No Fault insurance. A few months later he formed his own insurance agency. When I launched the insurance agency it was organized as a franchise called Sunshine State Insurance. A few years later I opted out of the franchise so he can become an independent insurance agent in Tampa and afterwards renamed the agency Colucci Insurance.

Basically the benefits of dealing with an Independent Insurance agent is that the insurance agent is not bound to offer insurance quotes from only one insurance company. An independent insurance agent will provide you with multiple insurance quotes therefore you receive the lowest possible price on your insurance policy. Because I am an independent insurance agent in Tampa I also live here and and experience the same issues as you in dealing with insurance.  Thus I will always strive to get you a low cost insurance quote.

Meanwhile in November 2016 we had our 25th year anniversary. Accordingly in observation of this important milestone we held a 25th anniversary party for our customers.  Particularly our guest speaker at the event was Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin Beckner. Additionally it should be noted that Kevin Beckner was instrumental in getting Hillsborough County to adopt the PIP ordinance which attempted to rein in a lot of the PIP insurance fraud going on in Hillsborough county.
